Handmade doll by Galina Maslennikova A1-14 Moscow area
The author's Galina Maslennikova A1-14 of the Moscow province maiden suit the Doll in the Russian suit (maiden) of the Moscow province of the XIX Century. The doll presents a girl's costume of the Moscow province of the 19th century. This is a suit with a sundress, which is dominated by elegant red. The festive sundress is made of red silk, which is decorated with patches of bright ribbon with a pattern of silk and metal threads. Shirt with wide sleeves in perfect harmony with the sundress and serves as the basis of the dress. It is made of natural bleached linen and has a minimum number of decorations in the form of patches of Kumach, as it was customary to wear in the old days girls unlike married women, shirts which are richly decorated. Headdress "poselok" was also intended for girls. The wide front side of the headdress was richly decorated. Two satin ribbons were attached at the back and tied in a bow above the braid. Festive boots were made of thin leather of different colors. Elegant festive boots on the doll successfully complete the sarafan ensemble.
