The doll is one of the most ancient toys. The first of the famous dolls - Egyptian. They had already mobile joints, real hair, carefully carved limbs. There was a huge variety of dolls in the ancient world: here are clay animals (birds, turtles, frogs, hares, snakes, monkeys). Greek children amused themselves with a Trojan horse stuffed with soldiers and officers. Greek and Roman dolls were made partly from wax, partly from clay, sometimes brightly painted. Their manufacture was a special branch of production. And in our time, the production of dolls is able to implement any, even the most unexpected fantasy.
