Till the 90-s of the previous century nesting dolls were turned and painted in the Moscow studio “Children’s Education” but after it was closed the manufacture was mastered by studios in Sergiev Posad situated near Moscow. It is an old center of toy manufacturing, repetition work was begun here, it has as a result the emergence of a special type of matreshka called Sergiev Posad.
